Hello! Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m Dr. Paul H. Gasch D.C. I was born and raised here in La Crosse, WI. After graduating Logan High School and attending UW-L, I went on to Palmer Chiropractic College where I graduated in 2006.
After graduating, I associated for two years then went on to own/operate a very successful practice in Amherst, New Hampshire for five years. After a lot of thought and discussion, my wife Amy and I decided our heart was back in Wisconsin with our families so we moved back to La Crosse in 2014.
Chiropractic changed my life. As a child I was very active and loved to play sports; especially soccer. At the age of 13 I had a sudden onset of asthma. I went to the medical doctor and was diagnosed with “Exercise-induce Asthma” and was of course prescribed an inhaler and was told I would “grow out of it”. A couple years went by and my asthma was getting worse. I would get asthma attacks while sitting in class and while sleeping on my back at night. One night I woke up having a severe asthma attack and was rushed to urgent care. I was then prescribed two more medications, a nebulizer for at night, and my inhaler. Well, my sophomore year of high school during a soccer game, I collapsed on the field from a massive asthma attack. And believe me, there’s no scarier feeling than lying on a soccer field, getting stabbed my epi-pens, gasping for breath and praying the ambulance get there before you die. Thank god my dad hurt his back and went to a chiropractor. The chiropractor explained to my dad how the bronchioles are controlled by nerves in the mid back and convinced him to get my spine checked. Sure enough I had a huge subluxation (kink) in my mid back. I got adjusted Monday thru Friday for two weeks straight and never had an asthma attack since. That changed my life and I found my calling.
Seeing how chiropractic helped me as a young adult, my passion and focus has always been on family, wellness based chiropractic care but since discovering The Pediatric Experience, my mission has gone deeper into neurologically-focused pediatric chiropractic care; helping children of all abilities AND their parents live a more vibrant, drug-free life.
It would be my honor to help lead and inspire you and your family toward a fuller, healthier, balanced life.

Hi, I’m Dr. Alex Ritzema, D.C. I grew up in a small town in south-central Wisconsin and graduated from Marshall High School before earning my Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS, where I was also a student-athlete. During my undergraduate years, I gained valuable hands-on experience through an internship with the college’s Strength and Conditioning program, working directly with athletes in the weight room. I recently graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
My path to chiropractic wasn’t the traditional one, but it shaped me into a more well-rounded provider. Although I was originally accepted into Physical Therapy school, I ultimately discovered that chiropractic was truly my calling. As a young adult, I experienced firsthand how chiropractic care could improve my overall health, which only strengthened my passion for the field. While at Palmer, I expanded my training by completing electives in the Advanced Activator Method and the McKenzie Method. My passion lies in helping individuals enhance their movement, performance, and overall well-being. More recently, I discovered the Pediatric Experience, which has sparked a new commitment to supporting children and families through neurologically focused care.
Outside of the clinic, I stay active by playing softball, hiking, fishing, traveling, and spending time with my family, friends, and my dog. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you reach your goals.
Hello, my name is Maile, and I’m thrilled to be part of the team at Onalaska Family Chiropractic. I grew up in Fountain City, a small town about 45 minutes from here, and I’m grateful to now be working in a community so close to home.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and being with family and friends. I have a passion for connecting with others and look forward to getting to know each of you on a more personal level.

I was born and raised up in Hayward, WI where I spent most of my time outside doing sports or hanging out with friends. I’m also a gamer and musician! Music is one of my passions and something I love to make!
I live in La Crosse with my two cats and a friend that’s family to me. I’ve been in La Crosse for almost three years and I love it!
Chiropractic care has been apart of my family’s life since my dad broke his back before I was born. We spent many days traveling for his after surgery care and chiropractic was one of the few things that actually helped him. Now being able to be apart of a team in the field, it’s really opened my eyes to how amazing chiropractic care is!
Megan brings a diverse background and a can-do attitude to our practice. Joining us in June 2024 as Marketing Manager, she has readily embraced various roles within the office, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to our patients. Originally from Madison, Megan earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from UW-Madison, with initial aspirations of working in child protective services or the criminal justice system. Since moving to La Crosse in 2017 with her husband to be closer to her bonus son and subsequently growing her family, Megan has found a fulfilling role with our team. You can often find her assisting patients and staff, and she has a particular affinity for welcoming the little ones and animal companions who visit our office. In her free time, Megan enjoys family time at the pool, dinners out with her husband, and indulging in true crime documentaries.
